A cornerstone of the Atlanta Road Alliance Church is world missions. We believe that Jesus Christ left a Great Commission for all Christians to obey. That commission is first to “love the Lord our God with all our hearts” (Matthew 22:37) and then to declare God’s glory to all people; “Let the nations be glad and sing for joy” (Psalms 67:4). We are committed to Getting the Great Commission Done.

Each year we hold two missions conferences. The annual missions conference is a week long event held in early February. Three missionaries serving with the Christian & Missionary Alliance come to share about their cross-cultural overseas missions work. The purpose of the missions week is to increase our awareness of global missions, connect with the work of individual missionaries, learn specific ways to pray for the spread of the Gospel, have an opportunity to give to the Great Commission Fund, and understand the call of God on our lives regarding world missions.

The second missions event of the year is the Fall Missions Weekend in October. During this three day missions awareness conference we hear from missionaries serving in non-traditional ways in mostly creative access countries (countries where traditional missionaries are not allowed to go).

Throughout the year the Atlanta Road Alliance Church is committed to being an active participant in the evangelization of people around the world and supporting churches that do likewise. Every month we offer a special “Missions Sunday” during which special focus is given to the missionary work in a particular region of the world. Missionary speakers often are invited to share their ministries during our morning or evening services.

We are committed to being a sending church. A church where our children, youth, and adults sense the call of God to full time missionary service. Several short term missions trips are sent from the church each year. The purpose of these trips is to turn a short term missions trip into a long term missions impact for our church and the receiving churches in the overseas country.
