“Growing” - This is describing our local disciple-making which stems from the Great Commission. When talking about discipleship we need to understand that it is not the “engine” of the church. The gospel is.

The glorious good news that Jesus has defeated sin, death, and evil through his own death and resurrection and is making us new creations in Christ, changes everything!  And if we make discipleship the engine of the church, we’ll run quickly out of gas, feel hopeless, and be driven by a fear of man rather than of God. Therefore, we never want to move beyond the gospel, but go deeper into it.

Where are you?

Do you know what next steps to take?

If you're not a Christian...

If you are a Christian...

Making disciples....

While we have a host of ways we gather together as a church and in small groups, we believe our Sunday Worship Gathering is the best intentional way to make disciples in a LARGE GROUP and our Life Groups are are the best intentional way for us to make disciples in a SMALL GROUP.

Thus,
Sunday Worship Gatherings are:
  • The primary LARGE GROUP avenue for disciple-making to occur at Atlanta Road.
  • A large gathering of the church who share life and community together.
  • United by their identity in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Gathered to hear God’s Word and respond in worship to His glory.
  • Empowered by the Holy Spirit for the mission to extend His glory, both locally and globally.

Thus, Life Groups are:

  • The primary SMALL GROUP avenue for disciple-making to occur at Atlanta Road.
  • A small group of believers sharing life and community together.
  • Growing inward by rooting their identity in Jesus.
  • Growing upward in their worship of God.
  • Growing outward by participating in the mission, both locally and globally.
