SUNDAY WORSHIP GATHERINGS

What unites us as a local church is not the style of worship or songs in worship; what unites us in the church is the gospel, salvation through Jesus Christ.  Thus, the gospel fuels our worship of God.  And our worship, when we gather as the Atlanta Road Alliance Church, fuels the mission of the church– to be a gospel-centered people growing and going for the glory of God.

Our worship gatherings are at 8:30 am and 11:00 am, and are very simple. We sing songs and hymns that focus on the gospel, pray, have communion once a month, hear the Scripture read, and sit under the preaching of Scripture.

Nursery is available for infants through 3yrs old. You can drop them off at the nursery before the service begins.

Children worship with the church at the 8:30 gathering and at the 11:00 am gathering they worship with the church until the half way point of the service, when they break off to attend Kids Church (4yrs old - 4th grade). Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when this happens.

Dress is casual, worship is simple, but expecting the presence of God, and Jesus is the focus. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday!  Below are more details to our Sunday Worship Times and answers to some other frequently asked questions.

What is "Kids Church"?

We love children at our Worship Gatherings!  However, we understand some children may not ready to stay for the whole time during the service.  We offer a kids worship service for children (ages 4 year old - 4th grade) on Sunday mornings during the second half of the Sunday service. During each Sunday service, parents are given the option to allow their children to attend Kid's Church if they so wish.  There the children have the opportunity to offer praise to God through songs, join together to pray for special needs, listen to a message from God’s Word, and participate in an activity that illustrates their worship.  If you would rather keep your children in the worship gathering, they are more than welcome!

Do you have a nursery?

Yes, we have a nursery! The nursery ministry is open to all children from newborns up through age 3, and is available during all morning Sunday Worship Gatherings at Atlanta Road Alliance Church. It is our desire to come alongside parents in nurturing the faith of their children.

Significant ministry to children begins in our youngest nurseries. Here a foundation of prayer begins for your child, as the godly men and women working in the nurseries are encouraged to "pray without ceasing" for the Lord's work in the hearts of these little ones while they are in our care.

Where Can I Serve in Sunday Worship Gatherings?

WORSHIP TEAMS

These teams consist of musicians and singers that lead the congregation in corporate worship on Sunday.  Each team has an assigned leader to lead the team and congregation.  Teams rotate with the choir every other week according to the quarterly schedule.

CHOIR
The choir consists of those that sing alto, soprano, bass, or tenor.  The choir assists in leading worship in a schedule that rotates with worship teams on Sunday.  In addition, the choir leads a
Christmas and Easter Cantata every year.

AUDIO/VISUAL TECHNICIAN
Audio/Visual Technicians play an important part in corporate worship on Sunday.  Technicians are needed to monitor the sound board, control the powerpoint, or coordinate video and other media-related needs.

MUSIC
In addition to playing on worship teams, musicians can serve in a number of other ways.  These ways include playing the prelude, offertory, or postlude.

FRONTLINE
In conjunction with corporate worship on Sunday, Frontline Ministries play an integral part.  This ministry consists of providing a warm welcome and friendly “face” to all those attending Atlanta Road Alliance Church on Sunday morning.  Areas to serve in this ministry include:  Greeters (at the door and in the hallways), Ushers, and Information Center Assistants.
