Welcome!

Dear Friend,

On behalf of the congregation of the Atlanta Road Alliance Church, welcome to our site!  We are delighted to share with you some information about us and hope that you find it helpful. This church exists for the glory of God. We would warmly welcome your visit to Atlanta Road Alliance Church and hope that you'll feel at home among us.

The Atlanta Road Alliance church was established in 1978, and our growing congregation is enthusiastically committed to its parent denomination, The Christian & Missionary Alliance.  You can find more information about the Alliance by clicking the link above.

Perhaps you are visiting in our community, or maybe you have just moved to the Seaford area.  Maybe you are searching for a church home where the Bible is taught and preached as God's Word, or would like to come at the invitation of a friend.  Whatever the circumstances, we welcome you with the prayer that you might find us to be a spiritually vibrant family of believers in Jesus Christ among whom you find a warm welcome!

FAQ's

What can I expect on a Sunday morning Worship Gathering?

We’d love to have you join us on Sunday at either our 8:30 am or 11:00 am worship service, and Sunday Classes, held  at 9:45 am.  And don't miss a time for fellowship and coffee/refreshments in between these times!  Here’s what you’ll find at Atlanta Road Alliance Church:

  • Friendly people. We’d love to meet you, so feel free to introduce yourself. Please let us know what we can do to care for you while you’re here.  You’ll notice some folks who like to dress up for church and others who don’t. Dress /files/Pictures for Pages/worshipandclouds.jpgtrends toward business-casual, though you can find anything from khakis to gray suits, flip flops to sandals.  Feel free to wear what’s comfortable for you, and you’ll fit right in.  In addition, we love having children in our worship service gatherings!  Children are invited to participate in worshipping alongside their parents.  At the second service, children are dismissed prior to the sermon to a special message for them at Kids Church.
  • Reverant and passionate worship.  The music we sing is a blend of old and new. We love the rich hymns of old and we find blessing in some of the newer contemporary songs.  In both, we strive for doctrinally sound gospel-saturated lyrics.  Most of us who are comfortable with one particular style have discovered that we have come to enjoy other genres of music we had not previously encountered.  We are committed to reverent and passionate praise through a blending of hymns and contemporary songs. Through the ministry of our choir, worship teams, and other special music, we focus our thoughts on the glory of God.
  • Expositional preaching.  Preaching is expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. On a regular basis, our sermon series alternate between the Old and New Testaments. All preaching is gospel-driven for the glory of God.
