Church Elders

The lay elders are called to serve with the senior pastor and associate pastor (who are also elders) in shepherding the church flock.  They serve in oversight of the spiritual ministry of the church body.  In accordance with our church constitution, the elders also make up a plurality on the Governing Board.  The elders meet at least twice a month for prayer, ministry of God’s Word, and congregational shepherding (i.e. interviewing of baptismal candidates and prospective members, church discipline, and prayerful discussion of the vision and future direction of our congregation).  Elders strive to be men whose lives demonstrate the scriptural qualifications as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.  The current elders are (in alphabetical order):

Andy Chupp

Chuck Griffith

Ray Hall

Dave Krilov

Jim O'Day

Dave Smith

Scott Smith

R.C. Willin

Governing Board

The Governing Board is called to serve the church body in oversight of the administrative ministry of the church.  The Governing Board meets on a monthly basis, or more frequently as needed, to administrate church building and financial matters, approve ministry initiatives, carefully review financial reports, and implement the vision and future direction of the church as communicated by the elders.

Currently serving on the Governing Board (in alphabetical order) are: Andy Chupp, Charles Griffith, Ray Hall, Rev. David Krilov (secretary), Richard Nagel (assistant treasurer), Jim O’Day, D. Scott Smith, David Smith (vice-chairman, treasurer), Lewis Van Kampen (head trustee), and R.C. Willin.
