“Growing...” This is describing our local disciple-making which stems from the Great Commission.  In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”  As a local church of believers we should be growing in maturity as we reflect the character of Christ and fruit of the Spirit.  We believe that God has called the parents to be the main disciplers and shepherds of their hearts, but we do provide certain ministry opportunities to help you in the discipleship of your child.  Below you will find how we want to intentionally make children disciples for the glory of God.

Awana/files/Pictures for Pages/awana-logo.jpg

Awana exists to partner with parents in the discipling of their children. We believe that parents are ultimately responsible for the spiritual development of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). We also recognize that the church is to assist you the parent in teaching your kids the gospel.

Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.  It is held weekly on Wednesday's, and is a 45-minute, fun, interactive, gospel-focused, Word-centered experience for the children!
